NASA has begun to repair the telescope Hubble

On Wednesday, 15 October, experts Goddard Space Flight Center at NASA have begun to distance repair the orbital telescope Hubble, said the site of NASA. Engineers from the Earth passed telescope team, in which information from scientific instruments beginning to arrive at the emergency module format the data as well as the basic unit went down.

To carry out the operation the telescope was moved to safety, or hibernate. After the trial to include tools once again moved into hibernation - but already awaiting instructions from the control unit.

Final completion of the "conversion" Telescope is expected on Friday, Oct. 17. The telescope has ceased to transmit information to Earth on the night of 27 to 28 September. Once established the cause of the incident, NASA decided to postpone the flight of shuttle Atlantis' crew which was to undertake maintenance of the Hubble and replace some equipment. Replacing the block formatting of data - is a complex process that requires prior training on Earth and astronauts from Atlantis have no time for training.
